Obituary: HARPER – Irene “Renee” (Felix), 84, formerly of Pike Road, Mundys Corner, passed away May 31, 2010 at Laurelwood Convalescent Center, Westmont. Born April 18, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Anna (Findish) Felix. Preceded in death by husband Robert Harper, Sr., infant daughter Rita Ann, grandson Scott M. “Jake” Harper, sisters, Mary Decker, Ann Kostura, Helen Dorian, Margaret Felix, Rose Hudak, and Dorothy Johns; and brothers Joe and John Felix. Survived by children, Robert and wife Dorothy (McGlynn) Harper; Joan and husband Dr. William Kittleberger; and Christine Holtz. Grandchildren, Annie (Tim) Brant; Jennifer (Brian) Baxter; Cindy (Shawn) Link; Robert, Erin and Jaclyn Kittleberger; and Heather Holtz. Great Grandchildren, Jordan and Maddison Brant; Brady and Rylee Baxter; Alyssa and Keira Link; Makenna Harper; and Taryn Morris. Also survived by brothers, George and William Felix; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Thursday at St. John Vianney Church, the Rev. Andrew Stanko, celebrant. Committal to follow at Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
