Obituary: POSEA – Gibby Roger, 59, of Johnstown, passed away June 6, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 2, 1951 in Johnstown, son of the late Archie and Blanche (Brown) Posea. Survived by wife of 14 years, Brenda Posea; son Archie; daughter Stephanie and husband Scott Thomas; granddaughters Jenny Mitchell and Cali Thomas; great granddaughter Taylor Schario; brother, Richard A. and wife Faye Posea; special cousins, Sally Hynes, Carole Miller, Joyce Napotnik, and Darla Thompson; and nephew James and wife Barbara Posea. Member and President of the Trustees of the First United Methodist Church, Vine Street, Johnstown. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo and from 10:30am until time of funeral service at 11am on Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Johnstown, the Rev. Dennis Zimmerman, officiating. Interment to follow at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Gibby’s memory may be made to his church.
