Obituary: TREESE – Larry W., 64, of Ebensburg, Blacklick Twp. (Bethel), passed away June 12, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 21, 1946 in Colver, son of the late Allen “Shorty” and Helen “Sis” (Frank) Treese. Preceded in death by grandson, Brett Michael Zarnesky and special friend, Esther Niehenke. Survived by wife of 22 years, the former Laura Leis; and his former wife, Diane (Malloy) and husband Gary Boring. Also survived by his daughters, Karen and husband David Zarnesky; Lisa and husband Alvin Miller. Grandchildren, Jessica and husband Luke Hanyok, Patrick, Derek and Diane Fyock; Ashley and Cierra Zarnesky. Great Grandchildren, Oliver and Oakley Hanyok. Brothers and sister in law, Leonard (Leis) Jury, Charles, Maurey and Bobby Leis; and Margaret Pierce; and former son in law, Patrick Fyock. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and Johnstown America Corp. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo where funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, the Rev. Marvin E. Lowery, officiating. Interment at Mc Dowell Cemetery, Northern Cambria. In lieu of flowers donations in Larry’s memory may be made to 4-Footed Friends.
