Obituary: VISOKAJ – John, 87, Colver, died July 7, 2010, at Cambria Care Center, Ebensburg. Born Nov. 10, 1922, in Czechoslovakia, son of Michael and Anna (Popik) Visokaj. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Mary Hudak; and brother, George. Survived by sister, Mary Peck; and brother, Michael, married to the former Catherine Edwards, both of Parma, Ohio. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of UMWA Local 860, Colver. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Colver, the Rev. Bernard Grega. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
