Obituary: CASADO - Ronald M., 53 of Nanty Glo, passed away July 14, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center. Born November 14, 1956 in Colver, son of Manuel and Bertha (Sauger) Casado. Preceded in death by grandparents and nephew Timmy Casado. Survived by parents, wife, the former Maryann Kuhar, all of Nanty Glo; daughter, Carrie, wife of Anthony Vranka; son, Ronald Jr., all of Colver; Step-children, Rene (Steve), Conemaugh; Angela, of Virginia; Luke, of Indiana; granddaughter Allyson, and step-grandchildren Cierra, Samantha, Anthony and Bayley. Brother of Buddy (Kathy) Casado, Duncansville; David (Dorothy) Casado, Tampa, Florida; and Carol (Ed) Fockler, Nanty Glo. Ron was retired from the FreightCar America Shop in Johnstown. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Fr. Martin A. Cingle, officiating. Committal at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
