Obituary: SYSTER – Dwight, 78, of Strongstown, passed away July 16, 2010 at Indiana Hospital. Born November 22, 1931 in Strongstown, son of the late Wilbert Otis and Goldie (Stephens) Syster. Preceded in death by brother William O. who passed away in January. Survived by sisters: Ruth, of New Jersey and Martha of Strongstown. Retired in 1991 from C.H. & D. Enterprises, Inc., and had been employed for the former Irving Voyls Construction Group. Member of Local 1058. Dwight enjoyed hunting. A Korean War veteran, he had served in the Military Police in Germany. There will be no visitation. A gathering will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment at Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown. Arrangements by the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.
