Obituary: HURTACK  Ann, 95, a nearly 70 year resident of Revloc, peacefully passed from this earth on November 8, 2015. Born January 25, 1920, in Colver, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Sitko. Preceded in death by husband, Michael, and siblings, Andrew Sitko, John Sitko, Mary Sitko, and Elizabeth Grazier. Survived by sons, Edward (Bernice) Hurtack and James (Karen) Hurtack; brother, Michael (Patricia) Sitko; grandchildren, Margaret (Joseph) Gittings, Tricia (Michael) Murin, Jennifer (Douglas) Bopp, Bryan (Rachel) Hurtack, Nicole (Christopher) Lauff; 11 great grandchildren; and special friend of many years, Mary Lucas. Member and faithful volunteer of the former Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Revloc; and more recently a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Ann spent the twilight years of her life never missing a breakfast with her sons. The many Slovak traditions that often accompanied her special meals will be carried on through multiple generations surviving her. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Holy Name Angel Fund, Bishop Carroll High School or Central Cambria Education Foundation.
