Obituary: FRANK – Rosetta G., 75, of Ebensburg, passed away Oct. 8, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 20, 1941 in New Germany, daughter of the late Andrew M. and Ruth Regina (Maus) Weinzierl. Preceded in death by infant granddaughter, Ellan Kimberly Frank; and brothers in law, Russ Itell and Carl Rosenberger. Survived by husband of 54 years, Frederick L. Frank; and children, Victoria Ann (Steve) Wirfel, New Germany; Allan F. (Kim) Frank, Florida; Sherri Marie (Ed) Long, Portage; and Kristi Jo (Rick) Pireaux, Belle Vernon. 13 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by brother, Herman L. (Maryann) Weinzierl, Vinco; and sisters, Dorothy Itell, Loretto; Geraldine Rosenberger, New Germany; and Muriel (Bernard) Farabaugh, Carrolltown. Member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. An avid bowler, she was a member of The Tuesday Night Women's Bowling League. Rosetta had been employed for many years at Penn Gables Restaurant and the Imperial Room (now The Crystal Hall) in Ebensburg. Rosetta was an excellent gardener. She loved her strawberries and blueberries as well as vegetables and flowers. The highlights of her life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; and Polka dancing with her husband. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Msgr. David Lockard, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosetta's memory may be made to Holy Name School Angel Fund.
