Obituary: DIBERT - Christopher D., 47, resident of the Hollidaysburg Veteran's Home, formerly of Bakerton and Nanty Glo, passed away Feb. 10, 2017. Born October 13, 1969 in Spangler, son of the late James H. and Judith A. (Lamont) Dibert. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother in law, Stanley P. Lawrence. Survived by sister, Callie L. Lawrence, Nanty Glo; and brother, James M.(Cynthia J.) Dibert, Fairborn OH. Also survived by nieces, Erika B. (David J.W.) Foust; and Monica J. (Michael J.) Little; and numerous relatives. Graduate of Cambria Heights High School. Veteran of the United States Army and served in the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC. Chris was an avid fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The family extends a very special thank you to the wonderful staff at the Hollidaysburg Veteran's Home who took good care of Chris every day and gave him love and kindness in every way. Services will be held in the Springtime. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. The family would appreciate donations to support military veterans.
