KIRKPATRICK - Mona L., 63, of Jackson Township, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 17, 2008 at The Life Care Center of Elyria, Ohio following a six-month battle with lymphoma and other medical issues. Born June 4, 1945 in Jackson Township, daughter of the late Morgan and Ada (nee Rose) Kirkpatrick. Survived by sister, Judy Davis (James) of Elyria, Ohio; brothers, Terry Kirkpatrick (Eileen) of Mansfield, Ohio; and Larry Kirkpatrick (Marjorie) of Omaha, Nebraska; also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. Mona lived her entire life in the log home built by her father and grandfather. Mona was known for the way that she beautifully maintained the two acre lot that her home was on. She was a 1963 graduate of Central Cambria High School and a 1966 graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College. She worked at Crown Construction in Johnstown for five years. Friends will be received from 2pm until time of funeral service at 4pm on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc, Nanty Glo, Terry and Larry Kirkpatrick, Miss Kirkpatrick's brother's, officiating. Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery, Mundy's Corner.
