SOISSON - Mary A., 60, Ebensburg, formerly of Loretto, passed away suddenly July 2, 2008 at home. Born March 20, 1948 in Altoona, daughter of the late Leo G. and Mildred (Mahlberg) Soisson. Preceded in death by brother Charles Soisson and brother-in-law Michael Robin. Survived by brothers and sisters: Donald Soisson, married to the former Donna Krug, Ebensburg; Janice Robin, Pittsburgh; George Soisson, married to the former Betty Ann Hockenberry, Loretto; and Margaret, wife of Joseph Strittmatter, Ebensburg; sister-in-law Genevieve (Nealen) Soisson, of Maryland; numerous nieces and nephews ; and best friend Pauline Templon and family of Loretto. Mary was a member of the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel in Loretto and was a member of the Altar-Rosary Society. She was employed in the housekeeping department at L. Robert Kimball & Associates in Ebensburg, and worked part-time at the Loretto Post Office. She had also been employed some years ago at St. Frances University. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m., Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at The Basilica of St. Michael in Loretto, the Rev. Msgr. Timothy J. Swope, celebrant. Committal at St. Michael's Cemetery. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto.
