UNCAPHER - C. Paul, 93, Blairsville, died July 5, 2008, at his son's home. Born Sept. 28, 1914, in Parkwood, son of the late Chester Lee and Annie Dora (Abel) Uncapher. A member of SS. Simon and Jude Church, Blairsville. A retired machinist from Pennsylvania Railroad. Survived by daughters, MaryAnn Murphy, and husband, Michael, Roswell, N.M.; and Margaret "Peg" Uncapher, Blairsville; sons, Paul Joseph Uncapher, and wife, Barbara, Vintondale; Marvin Francis Uncapher, and wife, Cindy, Blairsville; and Michael Lee Uncapher, and wife, Dawn Ann, Blairsville; grandchildren, Kristen Henry, Johanna Boothby, Megan Stiffler; Cardin Semsick, Sarah Jesse, Katherine Michael Uncapher; and Joshua, Adam and Jared Uncapher; step-grandchildren, Robert Murphy and Lisa Shafer; and great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Jonathan and Andrew Henry; and Braden Boothby and Aidan Stiffler. Preceded in death by beloved wife, Lillian Doris (Ondrizek) Uncapher, in 2006; sisters, Frances Miller, Annabelle Watkins and Pearl Susan Cecconi; brother, William Lee Uncapher; and parents. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, 25 W. Market St., Blairsville, where wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the SS. Simon and Jude Church, Blairsville, Fr. Chester J. Raimer, celebrant. Interment, SS. Simon and Jude Cemetery.
