PREBISH - Donald F., 80, Cresson, died Aug. 22, 2008, in Fairfax, Va. Born June 16, 1928, in Cresson, son of the late Stephen and Margaret (Howe) Prebish. Preceded in death by brother, Thomas. Survived by wife, former Penelope Ann Evans, Ebensburg; children: Deborah Worthen (Julian), Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mark Prebish (Renee), Seward; Monica Prebish, Pittsburgh; and Michelle Prebish (Eric Naugle), Ebensburg; grandchildren: Saul and Teal Worthen; and Mark II and Miranda Prebish; and great-grandchildren, Catcher Gray and Shiloh Amethyst. Brother of Kathryn Swemba, Cresson; and Rose Marie Crusciel, Ambridge. An Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired salesman. Member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Cresson. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church, the Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal, church cemetery. Military graveside rite by Cresson American Legion, Sankertown V.F.W. and other local veteran organizations.
