HARRISTY - Mary, 98, Vintondale, died Aug. 29, 2008. Born Feb. 16, 1910, in Wehrum, daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Gambel) Harasty. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters. Survived by brother, Andrew Shorty Harasty, and fiancee, Mary Ann, and daughter, Susie Tropor; sister, Elizabeth Oravac; sisters-in-law, Edna Harasty, and special friend, Danny, and Stella Harasty; and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Bowser-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, with the Rev. Carl Schmidt. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
