Obituary of James A. Ceresa

CERESA - James A., 70, Pittsburgh, formerly of Ebensburg, died suddenly Thursday, May 14, 2009. Beloved husband of 46 years to Frances (Mehal) Ceresa. Father of Amy Ceresa Wehrell, Tampa, Fla., and Frank A. Ceresa, Dallas, Texas. Grandfather of Caroline and James Wehrell. Brother of Richard Ceresa (Rose) and the late Mary Jane Clements. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. James was the CFO of Frank Calandra Inc. and Subsidiaries since 1988 and retired March 1, 2009. He was previously employed by Lybrand, Montgomery and Ross, Union Corp. and CEO of Prinair and CFO of Metro Airlines. James was a graduate of St. Francis University of Pennsylvania. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Weddell-Ajak Funeral Home, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall, where a parting prayer will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, followed by a Christian funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Scholastica Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15215.
