O'HARA-McALLISTER - Pauline, 83, Ebensburg, died May 14, 2009, in Ebensburg. Born Sept. 12, 1925, in Loraine, Ohio, daughter of Andrew and Florence (Speicher) Kovatch. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Paul McAllister; sister, Virginia Maskas; and brother, Russell Kovatch. Survived by children: Patricia, wife of George Smith, Ebensburg; Timothy O'Hara, married to the former Susan Lauffer, New Jersey; Mary Lou, wife of Daniel Perich, Beaverdale; Daniel O'Hara, married to the former Debbie Glass, Ebensburg; Judith, wife of Joel Kosmac, Sidman; and Christine, wife of Christopher Dumm, Ebensburg; stepchildren, Donna, wife of Glen Kozian, Revloc, and Jack McAllister, married to the former Karen Nihart, Gallitzin; 22 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Sister of Gloria, and husband, Thomas Furge, Allison Park. Retired from Schettigs Hardware, Ebensburg, with 30 years of service. Former member of VFW Auxiliary Post 4963, Ebensburg. Friends received from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where vigil wake service will be held Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Bishop Carroll High School Financial Aid Fund or Holy Name School Angel Fund in Pauline's memory.
