MOORE - Betty (Chappell), 77, of Nanty Glo, passed away June 16, 2007 at home, surrounded by her family. Born Nov. 2, 1929 in Portage, daughter of the late Etta Mae (Colbert) Chappell-Chalan and William L. Chappell. Preceded in death by step father Pete Chalan, first husband Tony Hollowniczky, second husband Russell Moore, brothers Barney Chappell and Ben Chappell and granddaughter Mae Demchak. Survived by children, Barbara (William) Hagmaier, Sandy (fiancé Gary Polchito) Elliott, Cindy (Donald) Bard, Virginia (Robert) Bugosh, Marsha (Michael) Demchak, Thomas Hollowniczky, Chris Haire, and Robyn (Patrick) Kunko. 15 Grandchildren. 1 great granddaughter. Also survived by brothers, Bill Chappell, Bob Chappell, Newt Chappell and Brad Chappell, sister Barb Dishart and numerous nieces and nephews. A loving mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday at Nanty Glo United Methodist Church, the Rev. John H. Snyder, officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. **********************
