HAYES - Bobby J. "Captain Bob," 66, Nanty Glo, died June 1, 2007, at home. Born April 12, 1941, in Black, Ala. son of the late Thomas Elmer and Clyde Mae (Mosley) Hayes. Preceded in death by brothers, Ira and Lavon; and sisters, Cindy and Anna Lois. Survived by wife, the former Viki Zarenko, Nanty Glo; children, Lisa Nordin, Johnstown; Kim (Jay) Mulcher, Johnstown; Tina (Mike) Parrish, Fountain, Fla.; Robert (Rhonda) Hayes, Indiantown Gap, U.S. Army; grandchildren, Jessica, Whitney, Adena, Veronica, Charles, Danny, Justin; great-grandchildren, Alex and Hailee; sister, Pat Whitcomb, Nanty Glo; brother, James, Indiana; foster brothers, Buddy and David Parrish; and the Parrish family, Panama City, Fla. Also survived by very special friend and good buddy, Bill Smith. A member of St. Mary's church, Nanty Glo. Bob built Century boats for many years and was a master carpenter for 30 years. A past member of the Lions Club, Bobby loved to fish, hunt and watch the Steelers. He will be sadly missed by his entire family. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Boswer-Ondriezek Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, where a Liturgical Wake will be held Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Church, the Rev. Fr. David Peles. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
