Obituary of Rose Marie Rech

RECH - Rose Marie (Zeman), 67, Ebensburg, passed away June 17, 2007, at Windber Medical Center. Born June 1, 1940, in Cambria Township, daughter of Stanley and Pearl (Conigy) Zeman. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Ebensburg; husband of 45 years, Leo Rech; and sons, Roger (Brenda), Pittsburgh; Jim (Susanne), Boston; and Darren (Amy), Harrisburg; also eight grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Carol), Ebensburg; and five nieces and nephews. Member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Ebensburg. Rose was a stay at home mom raising three sons, worked at her home business, Rose Marie Beauty Salon for nearly 30 years, and later employed as a food service worker. Rose enjoyed quilting and sewing. Member of Salix Stitches and American Quilters Society. She also enjoyed cooking and watching TV food programs. A loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed. At Rose's request there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Monsignor Arnold L. Gaus, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rose's memory may be made to Holy Name Angel Fund.
