FARABAUGH - Dorothy A., 82, Ebensburg, formerly of Carrolltown, passed away on Aug. 20, 2007. She was born March 15, 1925, in Carrolltown, daughter of Joseph and Dora (Long) Feighner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter A. Farabaugh; daughter, Sandra Ann Farabaugh; sisters, Clara Bender, Leona McCoy, Marie Yeaglin and Roselyn Fowler; and brothers, Charles and Gerald Feighner. She is survived by three sons, David J. Farabaugh, Ebensburg; Fred A. Farabaugh, and his fiancee, Sandy Bernecky, Ebensburg; and Raymond J. (Paula) Farabaugh, Ebensburg; nine grandchildren, Benjamin, Charlene, Jennifer, Jamie Lynn, Nicholas, Tyler, Alysa, Adam and Maria; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Feighner, Carrolltown; sister, Margaret Stoltz, Huntington; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy devoted many years of her life on the family dairy farm and also worked in the Defense Factory in Cleveland during World War II. She attended the Holy Family Catholic Church in Colver for many years. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, the holidays and shopping, especially at the Dollar General. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 146 N. Main St., Carrolltown, where a vigil for the deceased will be held and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, the Rev. James B. Coveney. Committal will be at the church cemetery. Memorials are requested to the charity of the donor's choice.
