Obituary of Dorothy L. Rose

ROSE – Dorothy L., (McFeaters), 92, of Vintondale, went to be with the Lord Oct. 6, 2019 at Cambria Care Center. Born March 9, 1927 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Victor and Catherine McFeaters; and was raised by her grandparents, Nellie (Lebkicher) and Mahlon McFeaters.  Preceded in death by her husband, Duane Devlin Rose; son, Barry; granddaughter, Crystal Rose; and grandson, Remington Rose. Survived by children, Victoria (Darl)  Murton; Michael(Kathleen) Rose;  Mark (Pam) Rose; and Remington  (Traci) Rose. Grandchildren, Michelle (Frank) Safko; Clint(Jessie) Rose;  Daron  Murton;  Adam Rose and Kelley (Luke) Knapic. Great Grandchildren, Mike, Sammi, Clinton, Austin, Isaiah, Autumn and Reagan.  Longtime member of  Pike Grace Brethren Church, Mundys Corner, where she served the Lord as a Sunday School teacher for over 30 years.  Member and President of  W.M.C.  Dorothy enjoyed painting, crocheting and reading.  Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo and from 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11a.m. on Saturday at Pike Grace Brethren Church, Pastor Rudy Sheptock, officiating.  Interment, Pike Brethren Cemetery.
