HAYMAKER – Margaret L. “Peg”, 83, of Blacklick Twp., passed away Oct. 7, 2019 in Maryland. Born July 16, 1936 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Raymond Samuel and Elizabeth (Felix) Gable. Preceded in death by husband, William F. Haymaker, Sr.; brother, Jim Gable; sisters, Eileen Nolan and Lois Horrell; great grandchildren, Keyonna, Aleha and Adriana. Last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Kim and husband Ernest Varner; William Jr. and wife Sue Haymaker; Wanda and husband Keith Johnson; and Annette Fisher. Also survived by 9 Grandchildren. 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Member of Ebensburg Evangelical Bible Church of Revloc. Peg enjoyed camping and listening to her husband’s country band. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Pastor Cliff Richey IV, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peg’s memory may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
