Obituary of Sandra Hauck

HAUCK  - Sandra, 56, of Strongstown, went to be with the Lord Oct. 10, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 29 1963 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by nephew, Matthew Shilling. Survived by parents, Ronald and Sandra Frederick; husband, Michael, to whom she was married for 36 years; and children, Michelle (D.J. Mattis) Hauck; Michael, Jr. (April) Hauck; and Nicole (Dan Hendrickson, Jr.) Hauck. Grandchildren, Alivia, Ava, Zachary, Haylee, Mya; twin granddaughters due in February; and her fur baby, Izzy. Sister of Cathy (Jim) Shilling; Rhonda (David) Earhart; and Ronald, Jr. (fiancé, Melissa Kopsic) Frederick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Blue Goose Sportsmans Club.  Sandra lived for family and friends. She loved “Glamping” at Deer Meadow Campground with family and friends, kayaking, shopping, motorcycle trips and family vacations to the beach. Sandra worked at Ebensburg Center for 31 years, where she went above and beyond and loved all the individuals she worked with. She will be extremely missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, the Rev. Clayton Harriger, officiating. Interment to follow at Pineland Cemetery, Strongstown.
