Beltz - Mary (Telesko), 89 of Vintondale, died June 11, 2007 at Rebekah Manor. Born February 3, 1918 in Vintondale, daughter of the late Dimitri and Sophia (Voloshin) Telesko. Preceded in death by husband of 70 years, Joseph, who passed away one month ago, granddaughter Lisa Beltz; step-father Charles Kovach; and brothers and sisters: John and James Telesko, Anne Telsko, and Julia Azevedo. Survived by sons: Joseph Jr., Davidsville; Gerald and wife Patricia, Reno, Nevada; James, and wife Annamae, Ebensburg; and Dennis and wife Darlene, of Vintondale; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of Helen Brennan, New Castle, California and Sophia Dodson, Vinco. Member of SS Peter & Paul Orthodox Church in Vintondale. Mary was retired from the Ebensburg Center (State School) where she had been a longtime charge aide. She had also worked as a nurses aide at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where a funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, the Rev. Fr. Grigori Tsjuman, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SS Peter & Paul Orthodox Church in Vintondale.
