DeSALVO – Arthur A., Jr.  “Art”, 54, of  Nanty Glo, passed  Dec 1,  2019 at home after a two year battle with cancer. Born Feb. 19, 1965 in Spangler. Preceded in death by father, Arthur A. DeSalvo, Sr.; nephew, Michael DeSalvo, Jr.; and infant great niece Charlotte Gerrity. Survived by wife, of 30 years, the former Sherri McClinsey; daughters, Brandie (David, Jr.) Weymer; and Ashley De Salvo. Mother, Betty Lou DeSalvo; father in law and mother in law, Harvey and Sharon McClinsey. Also survived by three brothers, three sisters, sister-in-law Stacey; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles. Former member of Twin Rocks Sportsmans Club, Tri-County ATV, and member of the Nanty Glo American Polish Club. Loving husband and father. Avid outdoor enthusiast. Art loved going on cruises and also enjoyed going to the casinos. He loved spending time with his loving wife and they enjoyed doing everything together. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Joe Brown, officiating.
