My Mom, Judy Grove was a patient of his. She has Alzheimer's. He was very saddened by her diagnosis. He knew I would take good care of her and never put her in a nursing home. He said to keep the faith on them finding a cure. He was such a caring Doctor to her. He held her hand. She was a nurse at the hospital for many years. He knew that. He knew many things about her because he listened and he truly cared for his patients. We missed him when he had to stop working. I felt so bad for him. I know that your hearts are aching. I hope you find comfort in that he is no longer in pain. Our condolences.

Condolences to the family . I am saddened by this news. I have known Mike for 30 years from working at conemaugh hospital. We both enjoyed fly fishing and swapped flies and fly patterns and fishing stories . I was blessed to have known him.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Dr Mike. He treated my mother, Cass Bracken, for yrs. and always called her Mrs. Bracken. Such respect... She would be sad to hear of his passing if she were still here. When she was once asked to change doctors she refused, saying she wants Mike. He was a great doctor and and a kind man. I once ask him why my mother's blood work was always better then mine he replied: Let me tell you something about the older generation, they are tough.... He was so cool. I will miss him. R.I.P. Mike.

Jack and I were deeply saddened to learn of Mike's passing. We will never forget the many AAABA baseball games we watched together when our sons were playing and if the game wasn't going just right, he would change where he was viewing the game and hope that the game would change also. Dr Mike had just became a Dr at Ebandjeff Clinic when I started taking my daughter Amanda to him. He knew and was the entire family’s personal physician including my parents, husband, daughter, grandchildren sister and mother in-law. He cared about us as people not just patients. We were blessed to have had him as part of the family for the last 30 plus year!!!

Doc Mike &I grew up in the same town good old Twin Rocks. Always saw him at the Kupchella party's as I was the I babysitter. He saw me in the office a few times when Dr Koh could not see me. Also in the hospital when I would be in for my heart. Always showed great concern. So sorry to hear of his home going but he is signing in a bigger choir now. My sympathies to Lori and the children. He will be greatly missed. Thank u Dr Mike for all u did for me&others.

Dr. Tatarko was a compassionate man. When my father was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer he stuck by his side and offered him comfort and the best advice! For that he is and always will be respected. The medical community lost an excellent physician and we all lost a very charismatic man. My deepest condolences to his family.
