BROWN – Rebecca “Becky”(Hoffman),92, of Mundys Corner, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, surrounded by her loving family on Feb. 17, 2020. Born Feb. 23, 1927 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Newcomer) Hoffman. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Robert S. Brown; son, Robert E. Brown; son in law, Bobby; brothers, Harry , Richard and Edward; and sister, Mary. Survived by her loving daughters, Sandra (Charles) Fenchak; and Sharon Roles. Grandchildren, Stacy (Doug) Weigel, Darren (Michele) Brown, Jim (Kim) Roles and Mike (Dana) Roles. Great Grandchildren, Tyler, Abigail, Ryan,Taylor, Bradley, Morgan, Joshua, Justin and Sara. Great Great Grandchildren, Blake and Bailey. Also survived by sisters, Norine, Annie, Mildred, Eleanor, Betty and Hilda; and brothers, Larry and John. Becky was a member of Pike Grace Brethren Church, Mundys Corner, where she served in the nursery for many years. She loved children and her desire was to serve those little lives. Becky was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Becky loved spending time with her family. She loved to read her bible daily, do word puzzles, and cook and bake for her family. She will be greatly and sadly missed by her loving family and all who knew her. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. In lieu of flowers, donations in Becky’s memory may be made to Pike Grace Brethren Church.
