SCHALL – Bernice, 89, of Twin Rocks, passed away March 15, 2020. Born August 7, 1930 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late William, Sr. and Rose (Adams) Shaner. Preceded in death by husband, Samuel; and sisters, Ruth, Jane, Pauline, Betty and Ethel. Survived by children, Bonnie (Dennis) McHugh; Samuel Mark (Leah Ann) Schall; and William (Scarlett) Schall. 5 Grandchildren. 8 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by brother, William (Rose) Shaner; several nieces and nephews; and good friend, Melanie Wixner. Member of First Baptist Church of Nanty Glo. Bernice enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Due to public health concerns, services are private. Arrangements in care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Condolences may be left for the family at www.askew-houser.com. Family suggests donations in Bernice’s memory be made to First Baptist Church of Nanty Glo or Pilgrim Holiness Church of Twin Rocks.
