TRUSEVICH - George, 95, of Florida, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away June 23, 2008 in Florida. Born April 5, 1913 in Lachna, Poland, son of the late Peter and Natalia (Ankovich) Trusevich. Preceded in death by loving wife Mary, loving sister Anna and brother in law Andy. Survived by brother, John Sava; brother in law, John Gaboda; sister in law, Margaret Smith; loving nieces Cookie Smith, Susann Young, and Helen Kolar; nephews, Michael Smith and Peter Gaboda and several great nieces and nephews; cousin, Nina Malykhin. and caretaker Becky Sackreiter. After retirement from the coal mines, George moved from Nanty Glo and has been a resident of Florida for over 30 years. He was a lifetime member of the Moose and Knights of Colmbus, and also enjoyed baseball. Friends will be recieved from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. David S. Peles, officiating. Interment, SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Johnstown.
