BANDROWSKY – Thomas F. “Pumper Tom”, 100, of Ebensburg, passed away June 10, 2020 at home. Born September 8, 1919 in Kato, Centre County, Pa., son of the late Steven and Mary (Kendzjeski) Bandrowsky. Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Marie “Boots” (Kruise) Bandrowsky; infant daughter, daughter JoAnn Reese; son, Sgt. Thomas J. Kazimer, PSP; son-in-law Floyd Reese, and siblings Joey, Loddy, Stanley, Joe and Blanche. Survived by daughters: Elizabeth (Theodore) Fulton, Colver; and Debora Bandrowsky, wife of Ed Luke, of Ashville. Also 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and his puppy “Toto”. Also survived by brother, Steve (Cecilia) Bandrowsky. Tom grew up on a farm in Coalport and had a love of horses, especially his horse “Dan”. He loved the outdoors and hunting. He enjoyed talking in Polish to his caregivers: Ken, Missy, MaryAnn, Kathy, Donna & Peggy. A member of Holy Name Roman Catholic Church. Friends may gather at 9:30 a.m., Monday, June 15th , at Holy Name Catholic Church Narthex followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Rev. Fr. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Interment at St. Boniface Cemetery, St. Boniface. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UPMC Hospice in Tom’s memory. Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
