Obituary of Dorothy P. Casper

CASPER – Dorothy P. “Dottie”, 92, of Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, June 19, 2020.  Born Nov. 7, 1927 in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Leon and Mary Tursky. Preceded in death by husband, Theodore; daughter, Patricia; several sisters and a brother. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Charles; JoAnn (Larry); Michael; Natalie; and Joseph (Karen). Grandchildren, Lisa, Heather, Scott, Larry Jr., Matthew, Teresa, Dylan, Bradley, Julienne, and Kimberly. Great Grandchildren, Brianna, Alexis, Audryana, Mitchell, Coen, Brooklyn, Joseph and Nicole. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Friends will be received from 10a.m. until 11a.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Leonard Voytek, celebrant. Committal, Holy Name Mausoleum, Ebensburg.
