OWATT – Margaret Elvera “Biddy” (James), 101, of Ebensburg, passed away December 9, 2020 at home.  Born July 12, 1919 in Nettleton, daughter of the late William “Ross” and Hannah Laurie (Grove) James.  Last surviving member of her immediate family, she is preceded in death  by her husband Joseph Owatt, brothers:  William “Merton” James, Walter E., and Robert H. James, and sister Leta Whinnie.  Survived by daughter Margaret Ellen (George A.) Cameron of Ebensburg; grandchildren: Tracy (David) Dalansky and Jospeh (Danielle) Cameron; and great-grandchildren:  Heahter Cameron (Tim Henderson) and Lindsey (Neil) Lee.  Biddy, along with her husband Joseph were the owners/operators of the former Owatt Furniture Store in Ebensburg.  She was a lifelong member of the Ebensburg First Christian Church.  Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Entombment at Holy Name Mausoleum.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.
