Obituary of Jack Allen Thomas

THOMAS – Jack, 89, of Northern Cambria, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away Jan. 9, 2021. Born Dec. 3, 1931, son of the late Floyd and Alice (Pearce) Thomas. Preceded in death by wife, Sally Ann; and son, William A. Thomas.  Survived by sons, Dale A. (Tammy) Thomas; and Douglas E. Thomas. Granddaughters, Elizabeth Thomas; Grace (Dennis) Farabaugh; and Kimberly Thomas. Great Grandchildren, Leo, Hannah and Vera Farabaugh, and Sawyer Thomas. Also survived by brothers, William E., Leroy W. and Donald F. Thomas.  US Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Retired from Bethlehem Steel with 30 years of service. Jack enjoyed archery hunting and fishing; and loved his granddaughters more than anything. Through the final years, Jack wasn’t in the present. He was with his sweetheart in their dating years.
