Obituary of William L. Stephens, Sr.

STEPHENS – William L., Sr., 71, of Nanty Glo, passed away peacefully April 10, 2021 at home.  Born May 8, 1949 in Nanty Glo, son of the late Dorothy Mahan.  Preceded in death by daughter, Jill Stevens, and brother, Dennis Stephens.  Survived by wife, of 52 years, the former Joan (Settle) Stephens; daughter, Kathleen (Jerry) Tabler; son, William L. (Angela) Stephens, Jr.; and son in law, Scott Stevens.  8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  Also survived by brothers, Thomas Stephens, Randy Mahan, and George Mahan; and sisters, Deborah Myers and Kimberly Silich.  At his request there will be no visitation, private service at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are in the care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to his wife, Joan.
