PALOVICH – Mary Louise, 86, of Twin Rocks, went to be with the Lord April 13, 2021 at home. Born July 29, 1934 in Waterman, daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Chekan. Preceded in death by first husband, George Doliveira and son, George A. Doliveira. Survived by husband, Nicholas Palovich, Jr; children, Ann (Roger) Doliveira-Shaffer; John Doliveira; Patricia Dugan; and Nicholas Palovich III. Grandchildren, Brad, Jamie, Meghan, Shannon, Jonathan, Taylor, Tara, Hailey, Lauren, Brittany, Nicholas, Andrew and Angelina. 4 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Anna Mae Prindle; brothers, John (Irene) Chekan and Andrew (Beverly) Chekan. Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be held that evening. Panachida will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home followed by interment service at Holy Ascension Orthodox Cemetery, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Dr. Robert Oravetz.
