Obituary of Gloria E. Rosner

ROSNER – Gloria E., 94, of Vintondale, passed away May 12, 2021 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Oct. 14, 1926 in Wehrum, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Harnotz) Risko. Preceded in death by husband, William H. Rosner; daughter, Linda Hayes; and brothers, John Risko and Joseph Lonetti. Survived by children, Laura (Robert) Margosiak, William H., Jr. (Barbara) Rosner and John E. (Donna) Rosner; son in law, Bill (Diane) Hayes; grandchildren, Jason Hayes, Elizabeth Henry, Jennifer Hodgson, Karen Lazar, Amy Berry, Timothy Rosner, John Margosiak; and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Mary (Jim) Mayancsik and Julie Kowalski; sister in law, Mary Risko; and extended family, The Steele Family. Member of Vintondale Baptist Church. Last living member of both Quiltaholics and the Homecoming Committee. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Monday and from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at noon on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Joshua Burbank, officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gloria’s memory to the Vintondale Baptist Church.
