KOVACH - Pia D.,89, of Twin Rocks, passed away June 8, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 17, 1918 in Twin Rocks, daughter of the late Valentino and Eugenia (Bombassi) Buoite. Preceded in death by husband, Charles J. "Lutz" Kovach; and sisters, Helen, Mary, Lydia and Dina. Survived by children, Joseph (Judith), Frackville, PA; Judith (Lou) Kuntz, Maryland; and Joyce (David) Warholic, Lebanon. Grandchildren, Renee, Jeff and Scott. Great Grandchildren, Ryan, Derek, Andris and Kevin. Also survived by sister, Margaret Kupchella, of Nanty Glo and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of SS. Timothy & Mark Catholic Church, Twin Rocks, where she had been a choir member. Friends will be received from 6-8pm Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 11am on Wednesday at SS. Timothy & Mark Church, the Rev. James H. Conrad, STL, celebrant. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pia's memory may be made to her church.
