



Obituary of Philip A. Brulia
BRULIA - Philip A., 70, of Ebensburg, passed away on Tuesday February 11, 2025 at The Villa Crest, Johnstown. Born on August 24, 1954 in Huntingdon, son of the late Peter and Sophia (Weko) Brulia. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Stephen Brulia. Survived by wife, the former Amy (Lacock) Brulia, to whom he was married 36 years, and brothers and sisters: David (Bonnie) Brulia; Vincent (Julia) Brulia; Christine (John) Burgh; Kenneth (Robin) Brulia; and Stephanie (Allegra Elson) Brulia as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Phil was a 1972 graduate of Altoona Area High School and attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. A graduate of the Ivy School of Professional Arts, Pittsburgh, he had also attended Penn State University. Phil was well known for his colored pencil drawings and was a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, where he had won a number of awards. He also loved his music and was an accomplished bass guitar player and a member of the musicians union. Friends will gather from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. (Saturday, February 15th) at the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Danielle Kendig, officiating. Interment at Lloyd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phil's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church.
