KRUPA - Pauline (Mehalko),89, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 17, 2025. Born in the home of her parents, Mary (Worchesky) and John Mehalko of Cardiff on July 5, 1935. Pauline was raised with her siblings who have all preceded her in death: Raymond, Frank, Walter, Irene Worthington and Robert; as well as an infant sister, Maryann.
Pauline married Michael Lucas Krupa, Jr. on March 5, 1956, raising their four children in Twin Rocks, Pennsylvania. Pauline retired from the State School in Ebensburg where she worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities. After retirement, Pauline would give much of her time to her church and community. One of her most cherished experiences was volunteering in the library at Blacklick Valley Elementary.
Surviving family members include her children: Michael (Helene) Krupa; Jeffrey (Laura) Krupa; and Cathy Englert. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, Tammy Krupa; grandchildren: Michelle (Jason) Shirk; Dustin (Whitney) Krupa; Megan (Ryan) Fields; Brittany (Ronald) Brown; Bradley (Molly) Krupa; Mariel (Jacob) Gossett; and Sam Krupa. Great grandchildren: Madison Shirk; Gabri’el Shirk; Jacob Russell; Lydia Russell; Aydan Krupa; Camdyn Krupa; Abriann Krupa; Ella Krupa; Isaac Wolfe; and Mayleigh Krupa.
In addition to her parents and siblings, Pauline is also preceded in death by her spouse, Michael Krupa; son, David Krupa; grandson, Matthew Krupa; and son-in-law, Richard Englert.
