Dwight V. Henry Obituary

HENRY – Dwight V., 89, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully March 11, 2025 at McCullough Place, Johnstown. Born September 17, 1935, in Connellsville, son of the late Elmer and Minnie Mae (Cramer) Henry. Preceded in death by wife Barbara A. (Sharbaugh) Henry, to whom he was married 63 years; brothers Jack, Leo, Boyd, William, Robert, and Ted Henry and sister Judith Stiles. Survived by son James (Clarissa) Henry, California; granddaughter Corlyn; great-grandchildren Aurora and Levi; Sister-in-law Sally Henry and numerous nieces and nephews. Dwight worked along with his wife at the family’s Cash & Carry Beer Distributing Business in Carrolltown. A member of Holy Name Church, Ebensburg.  Dwight served in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion.  At his request there will be no viewing.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Holy Name Church, the Rev. Fr. Brian Warchola, celebrant.  Interment at St. Benedict’s Cemetery, Carrolltown.  Arrangements are in the care of Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Condolences to the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
