MOHNEY - Patricia Louise (Clarke), 86, of Ebensburg, passed away Friday March 21, 2025 at her residence.   Born on Friday July 29, 1938 in Stoneboro, Pa (Mercer County), daughter of the late Gertrude L. (Jewell) Snyder and her biological father, Thomas B. Corner.   Preceded in death by step-father Arthur N. Snyder,  son-in-law Michael Stefanowski, grandson Joseph Stefanowski and brother-in-law Tony Knott.  Fresh out of Lakeview High School in 1956, Pat and Duane exchanged vows they had written themselves.  Two months later, they were able to formalize them and were married in the First Presbyterian Church in Beaver Falls, Pa. on August 9th 1956.  Her passing ends a marriage union of 68 years.  She is survived by her husband Duane and these children:  Debra (Tim) Shamble; Denise (Stan) Zarycki, Diana Vermillion, and Doug (Tina) Mohney.  Also survived by grandchildren:  Daniel Stefanowski, Dylan Burbee, and Mara Vermillion;  Great-grandchildren Emma Mae Gilmore and Leo Lee Burbee; and sisters Pearl Knott and Elizabeth "Betty" (Stan) Knauff.  Pat retired as office manager from the Cambria County Penn State Cooperative Extension Office in 2000.  In her retirement she enjoyed watching sports, Jeopardy, playing Wordle with her children, sharing coffee with her friends, and  accompanying Duane on his many bagpipe performances.  Pat leaves a loving legacy of quiet support and gentle love for her husband, children, grand and great-grandchildren.  A Gathering of Friends will be held from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday (March 25th) at the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Danielle Kendig, officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ebensburg Presbyterian Church 200 N.
