HARRIGER -   Rev. Clayton D., 91, of Belsano, a devoted Methodist minister for 65 years in the ministry – always doing God’s work- even up to his final day, passed on April 21, 2025 at home. Born Aug. 5, 1933 in Monroe Twp., Clarion County, son of the late Russell Forest and Helen Laura (Sedwick) Harriger. Last surviving member of his immediate family, Clayton is preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Jean (Botzer); and sister, Connie Smail.  He is survived by children, Richard (Lynn) Harriger; Vicki (Don) Stophel; Eric (Vicki) Harriger; Linda (James) Lindrose; and Stephen (Alberta) Harriger. 9 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; wife, Carol Ann; and his loyal dog, Fritz.  Clayton was also a proud US Marine Corps. veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict, stationed at Paris Island. A Celebration of the Life of the Rev. Clayton D. Harriger will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Monroe Chapel Methodist Church, 17995 PA-68, Sligo, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Laurel Mountain Bible Church, 131 Bobwhite Lane, Mineral Point PA 15942 in Clayton's memory. Arrangements are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where condolences may be expressed to the family at www.askew-houser.com
