Obituary of Donna J. Kovach

KOVACH – Donna J., 88, of Sunbury, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away May 12, 2025 at Serenity Gardens, Kulpmont, PA. Born Oct. 2, 1936 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late George and Margaret (Martin) Scaife. Preceded in death by husband, Leo Kovach; and brother, Paul Scaife. Survived by son, Bruce (Michelle) Kovach. Grandchildren, Dustin (Sarah) Everitt; and Keris (Tim Hann) Ladd. Great Grandchildren, Brendan and Collins.  Also survived by several relatives and friends. Life member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Nanty Glo. Former clerk with Gold Crown Market, Nanty Glo. Donna will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, Pastor Russ Havener officiating.
