FUNYAK -   Irene E., 86, of Nanty Glo, passed away July 15, 2025 at Forest Hills Personal Care Home. Born Nov. 20, 1938 in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late John and Frances (Barther) Molnar. Preceded in death by husband, Philip. Survived by several cousins and numerous nieces and nephews, including her special niece, Barbie, who was her guardian and caregiver for many years. Member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. Irene loved traveling with her husband Phil. She enjoyed shopping; and sending out her special Hallmark cards to family. Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Mary’s Church, the Rev. Kevin Queally, TOR, celebrant. Committal to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church in Irene’s memory.
