WHITE -   Mary D., 65, of Nanty Glo, passed away July 27, 2025 at home. Born June 9, 1960 in Elkton, Maryland, daughter of the late Russell P. and Patricia B. (Malloy) Flick. Preceded in death by husband, James; sister, Michelle Flick; and nephew, Jeremy Flick. Survived by daughters, Christina (David) White; and Wendy (Derek) White. Grandchildren. Parker, Paxton, Kian, Luca and Kaia. Also survived by brothers, Dennis (Patty) Flick; and Raymond Flick; niece, Jennifer Abba; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Longtime partner, Raymond Rodkey.

Mary was a creative soul who loved to crochet and craft, always toting around her latest project. She was happiest as “Granny,” spending time with her grandkids, playing, laughing, and treating them to surprises just because. She was endlessly thoughtful — the kind of mom who never came home without a little something for her daughters or grandkids. She had a fun and curious spirit, with a love for science fiction, old movies, and all things mysterious like ghost stories and Big Foot sightings. Her love, generosity, and positivity touched everyone she met, and will be greatly missed. We love you, Mama. You da best!
