LANE – Grace M. (Weinzierl), 90, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025. Born January 22, 1935, in Johnstown, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Wirfel) Weinzierl.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald M. Lane; sisters, Mildred Weinzierl and Louise Bodenschatz; and brothers, Leonard and Gerald Weinzierl.  Grace is lovingly remembered by her children: Ronald (Lauren) Lane, Manheim, PA; Brenda (David) Havener, Mount Wolf, PA; Nancy Hurst, Cattaraugus, NY; Mary Kay (Joe) Sirna, Huntington Beach, CA; Sara (Andy) Sorbera, Clearfield, PA; Michael (Carrie) Lane, Honey Brook, PA; Thomas (Danielle) Lane, Ebensburg, PA.  Cherished grandmother to: Daniel and Matthew Lane; Stasi (Micah) Henry; Abi (Jimmy) Iovino; Amanda Havener and her companion Rob Stratmeyer; Alex Havener; Stephen (Morgan), Sarah, Spencer (Anna Laura), Samantha, and Eli Hurst; Megan (Kord) Tagley; Tyler Sirna and his companion Laura Kubly; Joshua and Jakob Sorbera; Maura and Jared Lane; and Samuel and Colton Lane.  Proud great-grandmother to: Claire and Nicholas Iovino; Levi and Caleb Henry; Beck and Campbell Tagley; Jonah Hurst; and Oliver Stratmeyer. She is also survived by her sister, Agatha Markum of Johnstown, and numerous nieces & nephews.  Grace was known for her hard work, warm heart, and love for her family. She was employed for many years at Mid’s Candy and also provided clothing alterations from her home and for Thompson’s Clothing Store.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 6–8 p.m. at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name Church, with the Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant. Interment will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, Ebensburg.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
