FRANK – Donna Lucille, 84, Formerly of Ebensburg, passed away Wednesday August 7, 2025.  Born on September 30, 1940, in Spangler, the daughter of the late Florence (Kelly) and Louis Byrne. Preceded in death by her husband Bill Frank and her brothers Eugene, Walter, and Kenneth Byrne.  Survived by her children:  Nicole (Michael) Lijewski, Florida; Terry Alan (Rachael) Frank, Florida; Louis (Wendy) Frank, Florida; and Becky (Jay) Kratofil, Pittsburgh; grandchildren:  William & Jonathan Lijewski, Jamie Jones & Lillian Frank, Molly & Madeline Frank, and Ella Kratofil.  Also survived by brothers and sisters Paul Byrne, Mary Lou Knapik, Raymond Byrne, and Gloria Hanlon, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Donna was a proud graduate of Mount Aloysious Academy. After high school, she earned a degree in Nursing through Mercy Hospital. She worked as a dedicated nurse for 42 years. Donna was an active member of Holy Name Catholic Church. She cherished time with family and friends and found joy engaging in numerous hobbies. She was an avid reader and loved gardening and cooking. Donna found peace in yoga, running, and being in nature. Most of all, Donna’s life was her family. Donna and Bill moved to Florida in 2019 to enjoy their later years in sunshine with loved ones. A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be missed more than words can express.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg, where a vigil prayer service will be held.  Funeral Mass will be held 11:00am Thursday at Holy Name Church, Ebensburg, the Rev. Brian Warchola, celebrant.  Interment at Holy Name Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna's memory may be made to the Holy Name School Angel Fund, 215 W Horner Street, Ebensburg, Pa. 15931.  Condolences for the family may be left at www.askew-houser.com
