McCULLOUGH – Sharen E., 68, of Nanty Glo, passed away August 22, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born December 20, 1956 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Alvin McCullough and Jennie (Boring) Stiles.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Thomas and sister Janet McCullough, as well as her former husband Barry McKavish.  She is survived by her significant other and companion of 30 years, Judy Withers; and children:  Justine (Scott) Nagle, Ebensburg; Heather McKavish and her companion Joe, Indiana, Pa.; and Courtney (Daniel) Stanton, of Johnstown.  Also survived by sister Connie (Brian) Smalley, Nanty Glo, her pet dogs (which she considered her children too) Bebe, Kherra, and Khloe.  She was a loving and doting grandmother to ten grandchildren:  Patrick (fiancé Kendall) Frantz, Josh Frantz; Lexi and Stephanie Nagle; Brittany (Jared) Melikent; Hollie (Tyler) Hegedus; Madison Hagen; Issac Thomas; Tiffany (Aaron) Ayres; and Cody Stanton, and 20 great-grandchildren which she cherished.  Sharen was retired from the former Laurel Crest Manor where she served as a Certified Nurses Aid and an Activities Aide for 25 years.  A proud member of the Nanty Glo Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, where she assisted her sister Connie as a cook and kitchen worker and was active in the Cambria County Fireman’s Association.   She loved to travel with family, her most memorable trip with her sister to Mexico and Punta Cana.  Sharen also loved interacting with her Facebook friends.  Friends will be received Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, with a Fire Ladies Memorial Service ar 11:00 a.m. at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharen’s memory may be made to the Nanty Glo Fire Company, 902 Chestnut Street, Nanty Glo, Pa. 15943      Condolences to the family may be directed to ww.askew-houser.com
