BOST – Christopher J., 36, of Ebensburg, passed away Aug. 26, 2025 at home. Born March 9, 1989 in Altoona. Preceded in death by maternal grandfather, John Schall; and paternal grandmother, Margie Bost. Survived by parents, Jack and Kathy (Schall) Bost maternal grandmother, Grace Schall; sisters, Jackie (Cam) Kyle and Abbey (special friend, Michael Conrad) Bost; nieces, Maddie, Hallie; and nephew, Noah Kyle. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; friends; and special pets, Stella and Marv. Chris was known as a loving son, caring brother, hardworking employee and great friend.  Many used the word “kind” to describe him. He would do anything to help others. Chris had a heart of gold. He loved music, guitars, his friends and The Beatles. He will be sorely missed by many. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Roman Catholic Parish, Lilly, the Rev. Matthew Reese, celebrant. Interment, St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Lilly.
