GRESH – Peyton Olivia, 17, of Ebensburg, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2025, at home. Born June 30, 2008, in Johnstown, she was the beloved daughter of Brian (late) and Brandi (Ellis) Gresh. Peyton came into this world bright-eyed and ready to take on whatever life brought her way.  An avid TikToker, she enjoyed creating videos, cooking, and baking.  She shared a deep bond with her mother and treasured spending time with her siblings, Marah Ketchock, Gabriel Gresh, and Giana Gresh.  Peyton also shared a special friendship with Harmony Hoggatt, and together with Marah and Harmony, they were inseparable.  A student at Central Cambria High School, Peyton was loyal to her fitness routine, loved being active, and enjoyed driving her car.  She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, infectious smile, and the joy she brought to family and friends.  She is survived by her loving mother Brandi (Ryan Huber) Gresh; siblings Marah Ketchock, Gabriel Gresh, and Giana Gresh; great-grandmother Margaret Ellis, paternal grandparents Barry (Deb) Gresh and Janis “Stu” Gresh; maternal grandfather Thomas (Lorri) Ellis; aunts Megan (Dustin) Charney, Erin Ellis, and Myesha (Cliff) Chappell; uncles Frank (Cheryl) Armstrong and Jason Watson; and many cousins, including Foster, Raylene, Skyla, Ronin, Trace, Addison, and Waylon; as well as countless great friends.  She was welcomed with open arms by her father, Brian Gresh; great-grandparents Nancy and Robert Stupic; and great-grandfather Thomas Ellis Sr.  Friends will be received Thursday from 2–4 and 6–8 p.m. at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Ebensburg.  At Peyton’s request, friends in attendance are asked to wear yellow.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Colver, Fr. Christopher Lemme, T.O.R., celebrant.  Interment at Holy Family Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Peyton’s memory may be made to Central Cambria Class of 2026.
